Ingredients

  • pre-made pizza Dough I use Trader Joe's premade pizza dough
  • olive oil
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • dry oregano
  • dry thyme
  • dry basil
  • shredded mozzarella
  • goat cheese
  • prosciutto
  • arugula
  • red pepper flakes optional
  • hot honey I like Mikes Hot Honey or the Savannah Bee Companys Hot Honey

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the pre-made pizza dough packaging. Usually, it's around 425°F (220°C). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven to heat up while you prepare the pizza.
  • Roll out the pre-made pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. If the dough is too elastic, let it rest for a few minutes and then continue rolling.
  • Mix oregano, thyme, basil, garlic, olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
  • Drizzle a little olive oil mixture on top of the rolled-out dough and spread it evenly with a pastry brush or your fingers.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the seasoned dough.
  • Take small clumps of goat cheese and distribute them across the pizza.
  • Take the prosciutto and create little wheels or rose shapes by rolling up each slice of prosciutto tightly. Distribute these prosciutto wheels evenly over the cheese.
  • Carefully transfer the assembled pizza onto the pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake according to the dough package instructions, usually for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
  • While the pizza is baking, prepare the arugula. Wash and dry the arugula leaves thoroughly.
  • Once the pizza is out of the oven and cooled a bit, drizzle hot honey over it and cut into slices. If desired, sprinkle some red pepper flakes.
  • Then scatter the arugula over the top
  • If you want more, finish the pizza by drizzling more hot honey over the top. I like a generous amount but be as generous or as sparing as you like depending on your preference for sweetness and spiciness.
  • Serve and Enjoy!
